In 1999, François-Xavier Richard finished his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Angers and created the Atelier d'Offard: a manufacture of wallpapers fashioned with the traditional techniques of block printing. 

His children, Eloise and Louis Richard Marschal, and Bruno Yvars, a close friend, joined him in developing the d'Offard brand and created Édition d'Offard, a design studio that publishes its own creations. 

D'offard is a family adventure, a brand seeking to shape ceaselessly through the intelligence of the hand. A meeting point between art and design, the beautiful and the useful, the artisan and the creator, yesterday and tomorrow.
